I’m very late in posting this, but for anyone who has been living inside a box, it’s December of 2010 now! How much snow is everyone getting so far this year?

We have added a new free-to-play PC game to our ranks here, it is an MMORPG release from Electronic Arts which is a fusion of Most Wanted and Carbon. From police pursuits to racing across the finish line, it’s all NFS inspired but on a massively multiplayer scale.
Check out the first post on the new NFS: World forum here.

In the month of October in 2010; yes, this month! Is a somewhat special time of year because there are 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays. Look on your taskbar and check your calendar there to see. This happens about every few years or so.
[ ...there is an e-mail claiming it's approximately 800 years for this event to occur, this isn't actually true... ]
More free time!

The rise of Battlezone once more?
Although coming in at over 12 years old, Battlezone still re-defined gaming on the PC when it came to combining action and real time strategy which supplimented the retro concept of the game. Even though we continue to include the game as one of our PC factions none of us here at S.D. have played the game (specifically BZ1) since 1998-2000… however, there have been developments regarding BZ1; though somewhat old news, one of the programmers has been lending a hand to the BZ1 community and since has released Battlezone 1.5b which is a stand-alone installer, includes the original game, large textures and has servers for multiplayer.
We may at some point during October put up a link/info for BZ1.5b on the forums, if anyone is interested in bringing Battlezone back into the light, then stay posted.

If some members didn’t know we now play a browser game called Minecraft, the game focuses on building next to anything with individual blocks, it’s very fun and addicting and you can create pretty much everything.
